Sevilla is basically my second home. It feels like a place where I can literally run to to calm my mind. I have been coming here since 2007 and return every year, mostly by myself. I feel the need to step out of my daily life, write a lot of things down, slow down, and just feel the sun touching my face. I walk around with my camera and the smiling comes easily. During La Feria, the Spanish people announce summer. They celebrate for one week in traditional clothes. I do not know why, but I exchange energy with people easily. This way, I get invited in their “casetas” and I can shoot families from close. That’s when you find soul in your pictures, I believe.
