Portraits

I started taking portraits in 2016. At first it was to push myself to do something I wasn’t comfortable about. It takes some courage to step up to somebody and ask if you can take their portrait. But something inside me pushed me to do it. And everytime I succeeded at another portrait, it gave me a very powerful feeling. So for 3 years all I did was going out of my comfortable peace zone to shoot portraits. People in the streets, people who I looked up to, friends from friends. It didn’t matter. I learned to look at somebody and analyze their characteristics and their beauty. I trained myself to see beauty in everybody. Sometimes beauty the portrayed himself never saw before. I work with very delicate sensitivity, to adapt to frequency of the portrayed, in order to get it is that what I see for somebody. It’s a funny game, actually.
